Historic Newspapers supply archive newspapers, which are genuine and original Newspaper editions (not copies), from a date of your choice. A perfect gift to commemorate someone’s Birthday, a wedding anniversary, a christening or a retirement gifts.

Our archive newspapers are particularly popular:

• as birthday presents. These are often used to mark special birthday anniversaries, as 40th, 50th 60th and 70th birthday gifts.
• as an anniversary gift. The 1st anniversary is the ‘Paper’ anniversary and many of our customers choose a newspaper as the perfect 1st anniversary present.
• as a christening present. As the child grows up, he or she will always have a record of what happened on the day they were born
• as a leaving or retirement present. Our original old newspapers make an imaginative farewell gift, marking the day they started employment at the company they are about to leave.

All our archive newspapers come in presentation gift packaging and with a personalised certificate of authenticity. This certifies that the newspaper you receive is a genuine original newspaper. You can personalise this by recording the recipient’s name, the occasion being commemorated, the date of the newspaper, as well as a short message.

Our commemorative newspaper archives date back to the 17th Century, and hold some extremely old and rare newspapers. We can supply Newspapers for most days over the last one hundred years, and have greatest date coverage from our London Times newspaper archive. We also have a wide a wide range of other Newspapers including The Telegraph, The Financial Times, the Guardian, and the Independent Newspapers. We also have stocks of the Daily Express, the Daily Mail, The Daily Mirror and The Sun, as well as Scottish Titles like the Glasgow Herald and the Scotsman.

1. Sunday papers are rare and therefore carry a premium. If your date is a Sunday, a
£20.00 surcharge applies which will be shown against the relevant title and added to the standard cost.
2. If any date you require falls on an historical event, a surcharge may apply which will be shown against the relevant title and added to the standard cost.
3. In rare instances, we may not be able to locate a paper when we come to pick it, even though our stock sheets show availability. We will contact you if this is the case.
